Welcome to my Blog!
Here are some known facts about Paula Paiva:
I am originally from the great state of Texas, but now reside in Frederick, Maryland. Thanks to my sweet parents who bought me my first Kodak camera at the young age of 8; It was then that I became the family photographer. I now sport Nikons. I grew up with ten brothers and sisters. We are scattered everywhere now that we are grown. As any photographer would probably tell you I would prefer to be behind the shutter than in front of it. Also, I am mother to three great kids(one who is the greatest guitar player around), and a grandmother to nine precious grand babies. Yes, I am to young to have grandchildren, however, it’s true they are all mine. With that said-I answer to many names, Paula, Mom, Nana and Hun. I’m a simple girl with a big heart who is in love with love. I am a hopeless romantic! I LOVE to capture laughter, I love to CELEBRATE life & LOVE to do all of this with my camera. My best furry buddies are a Weimaraner named Elvis and a Blues Point Siamese named Kitty. There was never any plans to have two grey animals as pets, it just happened. I’m in love with a country boy named Mike(great Dad too). I love Art, and believe that everyone has an artistic side. I frequent starbux and love fountain coke. A proud American(sometimes embarrassed). Music lover who favors Rock (U2) and Pop(Madonna), but my current favorite singer rides to work with in the Land Rover everyday, Miranda Lambert-she rocks the country lyrics! Her Airstream song, best describes me at the moment. My biggest addiction is anything photographical, Face booking, and blogging. Duh, I am a photographer I better be. Other obsessions could be purses, LOL. Paula is a straight up Dallas Sports Fan! I believe in: God, Free Will, My Family, Pink, Chance, Luck, Fate, and Karma. Here you will find my most recent work and sessions with a sure glimpse into mommy/nana/photographer life. So come back often & don’t forget to say, “Hi!” I welcome all your comments with <3
