Just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Who’s ready for the warm weather to make it back to Maryland? C’mon patio weather!  I am so excited to be able to get back outside photographing Engagements, Weddings, Family laughing it up and creating memories.  And it’s the perfect time for a Paula Paiva Photography giveaway!  Anyone interested in a free photography session with me?  Gather your favorite snap shots of you and the sweetheart.  Let’s get ready for some fun! The winner will receive a gift certificate for a photography session worth $250.00.  As always your session will include a 1-2 hour session with me wherever you would like on location within reasonable driving distance), a high resolution CD of all edited images and a photographer’s release for personal printing.   Just in time for spring 2013.

How to Enter:

  • Send an email to LAPAPHOTOG@GMAIL.COM with the word “Contest” in the subject line and attach a photo file of you and your sweetheart or the couple you wish to nominate. Explain why they are the cutest couple in a few words.
  • Sunday Evening, February 17, I will upload all of the entries into a Face Book album.  The Contest will go for 5 days.
  • Have your friends & family “Like” Paula Paiva Photography and share your photo with their  FB friends.
  • The image with the most “Likes” WINS!

Contest Rules and Details:

  • The photo you enter must not have been taken by a professional, not even me.
  • This contest winning excludes events such as, weddings, family gatherings, and/or parties.
  • Only one entry per person.
  • Submissions are only valid via email (please do not upload your picture directly to the Face Book page).
  • Only “Likes” will be tallied. Voters must “Like” the Paula Paiva Photography Face Book page in order to be eligible to vote.
  • Contest ends February 22, Friday, at midnight.
  • Winner will be posted Monday, February 25th.

I really do admire the working farms and the hard working families that are still around today as well as those who support their local farmers.  I will admit I never really paid it much attention until I moved to Marland 11 years ago.  Several of the farms that I visited on the tour are still considered a working farm.  Below you can see an artist painting  ” The Big White Barn”, known as Carrollton Manor Farm.
